Action Required: SORBS Shut Down

June 19, 2024
After years of actively identifying spam sources, the SORBS (Spam and Open-Relay Blocking System) DNS Blacklist service, established to combat spam since its inception in November 2001, has officially ceased operations. As announced by Proofpoint, SORBS will no longer provide reputation data. ORF clients currently utilizing SORBS in their DNS Blacklist configurations are advised to remove it from their configuration to avoid disruptions.
