Anti-Virus agents

Using anti-virus software as agents can be useful if you do not have the email scanning module for the software. If your anti-virus already scans emails, using it as an ORF agent is redundant.

We occasionally release ORF External Agents against certain spam campaigns. Find these agents below.

• Backscatter Protection Agent

  This agent offers protection against "backscatter" (or "reverse NDR") attacks which occur when a spammer sends large amounts of email in the name of your domain and your email server gets bombed by bounce reports from legitimate servers.

• PDF Spam Agent

  Provides protection against spam campaigns when the payload of the spam arrives in PDF documents.

• Image Spam Agent

  This agent can blacklist certain variants of spam campaigns when the payload arrives as embedded images.
