What is this?
This tool is an External Agent for ORF 2.1 and newer versions that improves ORF by PDF spam detection capabilities.
What is PDF spam?
PDF spam is a subtype of spam which has the payload in attached PDF documents. This agent was developed specifically against a 2007 PDF spam outbreak. Since then, PDF spam virtually disappeared from the Internet, so this agent is listed for demonstration purposes only — if you are interested in developing your own External Agent for ORF, the source code (C#, .NET 2.0) was made available for you to study under GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL).

System Requirements
This agent requires both the 1.1 and the 2.0 version of the Microsoft® .NET Framework Runtime. These frameworks are present on any modern Windows versions, but you can also download them from the Microsoft website.
Source Code
The source code of the agent is available for download. It was written in C# 2.0 and it is licensed under GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). The agent relies on iText#, a free C# port of the open source Java iText library.
