Instead of the current manual way, add support for a single-file configuration backup and restore. An extension to this feature can be voted separately (see the "Command-line Configuration Backups" request).

Yes this would be very nice. Backup and restore is important. By this you can make a backup before and after you do any changes.

Implemented in ORF 5.2. Automatic backups are now available via the Configuration Snapshots feature (http://vamsoft.com/support/docs/orf-help/5.2/adm-cfgs) and on-demand backups can be created as described in the Configuration Backup Guide at http://vamsoft.com/support/docs/how-tos.
