Exchange Edge Role and DHA protection RSS Back to forum

I wonder if I should periodically export all of our valid e-mail address into a text file, put this on the ORF/Exchange Edge server and use it under "Recipient Validation". If I do that, can enable DHA Protection? Will that work?
We are getting a ton of DHA's which then bounce back to the bogus sender.

That's what I did. PowerShell script to export email address to CSV, scheduled it so I can always have an up-to-date list, cleanup the text file a bit, move to ORF. Implement. Done. ORF is cool!

Haha, ORF is cool indeed :) Good job on the workaround! This is exactly what we usually recommend as well.

I would like to employ DHA protection, but we are on Exchange Edge Transport role. DHA protections will not function per https://vamsoft.com/support/docs/orf-help/5.4.1/adm-recipientvalidationsrc-ad.
How can I pro-actively detect a DHA and then temporarily block the IP's or Sender?
Thanks
