What is Honeypot?

Honeypots are bogus addresses to which legitimate emails are never sent. They can be used as bait to lure spammers, who start sending emails to these addresses. ORF builds a database of hosts who sent to these addresses, so when they attempt to spam valid mailboxes, their email gets blacklisted.

How can I enable the Honeypot test?

Please consult the related Help topic.

IMPORTANT: in order to use the Honeypot test, a list of spambait addresses should be compiled first. For detailed instructions, please read our related article.
