Frontend Transport service fails to restart after installed 5.5.1 RSS Back to forum

Good afternoon,

I have just installed the 5.5.1 update but the MS Exchange Frontend Transport service failed to start back up again after installation. Anyone have any ideas why?

We are not aware of any issues with ORF v5.5.1. Could you provide us with more details?
- Which server OS and Exchange version is used on the ORF server?
- Which ORF version was the 5.5.1 update installed on?
- Did you receive any error message during or after the update?
- Did you manage to restart the MS Exchange Frontend Transport service after the installation?
- Have your found any error or warning messages in the ORF logs after the update?
- Are there any error/warning messages in the Windows Event Logs related to this issue?
