outgoing e-mail blacklisted RSS Back to forum

@Harold Wright:
I suppose these are outgoing emails? I suspect there was a network change and your outgoing emails are now blacklisted. This is because you need to tell ORF explicitly to whitelist outbound emails if they are not coming from the intranet/via authenticated SMTP sessions.
If ORF runs in the DMZ at 76.79.200.122 and 76.79.200.123 is your Exchange server at a fixed IP address, I recommend that you add 76.79.200.123 to the IP Whitelist of ORF. This will guarantee that emails coming via your Exchange server will be whitelisted and thus not subject to the Recipient Validation Test.
Up until yesterday (4/10/2011) ORF was working properly. Today any valid sender to any valid address fails with the following error on ORF:
Version: 4.4 REGISTERED
Log Mode: Verbose

and the following error from Outlook:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

If ORF service is shut down then Outlook works properly & e-mail is sent!!!!
