Hello Robert,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This one appears to be a minor bug in the SPF evaluation process. In short, the error indicates that ORF attempted to retrieve the SPF policy (TXT record) from the domain's DNS zone file, but it did not get a response in time (time-out). The bug does not affect the outcome of the evaluation itself, but simply assigns an incorrect severity level to the event.
In the next version of ORF, the severity level of this event will be changed to "Warning" only, so your mailbox will not get polluted by these "Error" notifications.
For the time being, if you do not wish to receive email notifications about events with "Error" severity, please open the 'Event Configuration' dialog (Administration Tool: System > Log > Email Notification > Configure) and disable the "Send email about events with 'Error' severity" option. Please make sure to save the configuration in order to apply the changes (Ctrl + S).
