Configuration Subscription RSS Back to forum
@aflowers:
One server should act as the publisher, and the other as the subscriber. For step by step instructions, see our Multi-Server Ugage Guide at

@Krisztián Fekete (Vamsoft):
Thanks for the reply, Krisztian. I appreciate all the quick replies!
Does this mean that, regardless of which email server sends out the email, both servers will add it to the autowhitelist?
As you can read here:
http://vamsoft.com/support/docs/how-tos/multi-server-5.0#planning-setup-edb
you need to set up a external SQL instance where both servers can use the same data.

I have set up a configuration subscription between my two Edge Transport servers to test ORF. The connections both test OK.
Do I set each ORF server to subscribe to the other? Or, do I have only one as the publisher and one as the subscriber? Both servers handle outbound email.
I want to make sure that they share their autowhitelist information regardless of which server handled the outbound email.
