The Configuration Subscription feature allows you to synchronize a configuration over multiple ORF installations. To learn more about this feature, see the Configuration Synchronization: General Information topic.
This topic describes the settings available on the Configuration Subscription page under
in the Administration Tool.To enable the Configuration Subscription feature, click the Subscribe button. To disable this feature, click Unsubscribe.
Click the Publisher Access button to configure the connection parameters of the publisher server. For more information, please consult the Remote Connection dialog section.
Also, please note that Remote Access should be enabled on the publisher server and the subscriber should be listed as an allowed host in order to pull the configuration. See the Remote Access section regarding this.
ORF uses an HTTP-based protocol (modified version of SOAP) for communicating over the network, so it needs HTTP access to the publisher server. If the managed ORF service connects to the publisher through a proxy server, the proxy parameters should be set on the page. See the Proxy Settings section for detailed information.
