General Information

This help file section contains general information about using the ORF Log Viewer.

Log Viewer Window

Visual Components

1. Main Window
   The window above.
2. Menu bar
   The menu in the upper left corner of the Main Window.
3. Tool links
   Shortcuts to launch the Administration Tool and the Reporting Tool.
4. Quick filters
   Select previously saved filters from this dropdown to filter currently loaded entries.
5. Toolbar
   Shortcuts to frequently used functions of the Log Viewer, like refreshing the view or loading log files, searching, filtering, sending selected items to blacklists or whitelists, connecting to a local or remote ORF instance, network settings, and invoking the ORF Help. Notifications about various events and errors are also indicated on this toolbar.
6. Connection status
   Shows which ORF instance the Administration Tool is currently connected to (local or remote).
7. Event entries
   The actual log data. Each row represents an event (not an email, as ORF may log more than a single event related to a single email).
