Configuration Snapshot Manager

The Configuration Snapshot Manager can be accessed by selecting FileConfiguration Snapshots… in the main menu of the Administration Tool.

Usage

The Configuration Snapshot Manager lists the snapshots stored on the managed server. The list can be sorted by any property by clicking the header of its respective column.

Snapshot actions

The list of available actions is displayed after right-clicking an item in the list:

• View Details: Shows detailed information about the selected snapshot. Double-clicking a snapshot, or pressing Enter while a snapshot is selected will do the same.
• Load for editing: Loads the snapshot data for editing, but the settings will not be applied (the loaded and edited configuration must be saved in order to apply it). This action can be also performed by pressing Ctrl-L.
• Revert to: Loads the snapshot data and saves the configuration immediately. This action can be also performed by pressing Ctrl-R.
• Keep as Baseline: Converts an Automatic Snapshot to a Baseline Snapshot. When this action is performed, the Baseline Snapshot Description dialog will appear which prompts to name the Baseline Snapshot and to add a comment to it (the latter is optional).
• Delete: Deletes the selected snapshot(s). This action can also be performed by pressing the Del key. Both the Automatic and Baseline Snapshots can be deleted manually.
• Refresh: Reloads the list of snapshots stored on the managed server. Also available by pressing F5. Any action taken refreshes the list automatically to keep the list up-to-date.
