Configuration Snapshot Details

The Configuration Snapshot Details dialog shows detailed information about a configuration snapshot.

Properties

This section shows all properties of the snapshot:

• Type: shows whether the snapshot is Automatic or Baseline
• Name: name of the snapshot (e.g., Configuration Snapshot #1)
• Comment: optional description of the snapshot
• Date taken: displays when the snapshot was taken in the local time zone
• Taken from: host name and IP address of the computer running the Administration Tool instance which created the snapshot

If the snapshot is Baseline Snapshot, the name and comment properties can be modified by clicking the Edit description button, which will invoke the Edit Configuration Snapshot dialog.

Actions

The following actions can be performed on the snapshot:

Revert to Snapshot

Loads the snapshot data and saves the configuration, so the loaded configuration is applied immediately.

Load Snapshot

Loads the snapshot data for editing. Once the settings loaded are reviewed, it must be saved in order to apply it.

Keep as Baseline

Converts an Automatic Snapshot to a Baseline Snapshot. When this action is performed, the Baseline Snapshot Description dialog will appear which prompts to name the Baseline Snapshot and to add a comment to it (the latter is optional). Available for Automatic Snapshots only.

Delete Snapshot

Deletes the snapshot.
