Upgrade Information (for version 6.8 users)

Welcome to ORF 6.8.1!

Version 6.8.1 includes fixes for multiple bugs that were present in the previous releases.

Update the DNS Blacklist and SURBL definitions: visit our website to download the latest definition sets and follow the instructions.

Review your configuration and fine-tune it as per our recommendations.

CHANGE: Attachment Filtering - Encrypted archives scanning
Enabling the "Remove password protected archives" and "Force check attachments" options together will now return a hit for encrypted and password protected content inside archives, regardless of the file extension.
BUGFIX: Email content replaced by Attachment Filtering
The Attachment Filtering test replaced the entire email content (including header, body) when the email itself was defined as an attachment, and identiefed as a blacklisted attachment.
BUGFIX: Configuration error caused by non-printable characters
Non-printable characters in the ORF configuration caused errors when saving or updating the configuration.
BUGFIX: Log Viewer fixes
A number of issues have been resolved:
- Timeout message was not displayed when unable to connect to the SQL server.
- Unexpected crash when selecting certain elements in a certain order in the right-click menu.
- The Sender IP quick filter targeted the wrong log field when filtering IP addresses from the /24 range.
