This section describes the Statistics page in the ORF Administration Tool. Select from the navigation to view this page.
ORF provides live statistics about its activity. Statistical information may help you in fine-tuning ORF.
There are two counter sets, the Historical and the Stopwatch sets. While Historical statistics provide summarized historical data, Stopwatch statistics can be used to monitor the statistics for shorter periods of time.
The statistics page is updated every second (depending on the load on the ORF Service), which provides statistics for the Administration Tool.
As the statistics are queried from the ORF Service, statistical data are not available when the service is not running.
The Historical statistics may contain statistics for DNS blacklists, SURBLs and External Agents that are currently inactive, but previously were active. Set this checkbox to hide the statistics of these inactive blacklists.
Take a snapshot of the current statistics using the Take Snapshot button at the bottom of the statistics view. The snapshot formats available are the same as other data export formats in ORF. The CSV export format is recommended if you want to import your statistics to Microsoft® Excel®.
Click the Start button to start the Stopwatch and click Stop to stop. Note that the Stopwatch statistics are not reset on Start or Stop.
To reset the Historical or the Stopwatch statistics, click the Reset button at the bottom of the statistics view and select the counter set to reset.
