Reverse DNS Test: Invalidated IP Addresses

This help section describes the Sender Domain Validation test Invalidated IP Addresses list.

General Information

The DNS A record which resolves to any of the IP addresses listed on this list will be treated as non-existent record in the Sender Domain Validation test. Use this list to ignore global DNS A wildcards for a TLD or gTLD.

The list contains the IP address 64.94.110.11 by default. Verisign has added this global DNS A RR wildcard previously, but due to the pressure of the Internet users, they removed the wildcard.
