This help section describes the role of the ORF SMTP Module in the ORF software.

The Role of the ORF SMTP Module

The SMTP Module is a lightweight component which integrates with the Microsoft® SMTP Service and communicates with the ORF Service. While the actual filtering is performed by the ORF Service, it is the SMTP Module which provides the necessary information for the filtering and it is also the SMTP Module which performs the blacklist actions.
