Offer a new action to move spam-flagged emails directly into a quarantine folder in the end-user's mailbox where they can be reviewed by the end-user.

Add feature to allow end user to blacklist/whitelist as needed.

Gregg, I do not clearly see how blacklisting/whitelisting would be initiated from an email folder-you mean an Outlook plugin or have something else in mind?

I would prefer that solution way over the Web-based Quarantine. Simply for ease of Administration, so the same folder cleanup regime can be applied like with the Deleted Items folder - based on age and size as an Exchange policy. It feels just much easier than a dedicated Web-based solution. At the same token: An end-user could indicate interest in rejected mail by simply instructing them to make a Folder with a pre-defined name like Spam-flagged or whatever, and if that folder exists in the user's mailbox, all rejected mail is delivered there. Likewise, if they are tired of looking at it, they just can delete that folder.

Peter, Probably an Outlook plug-in would do it. Or something along the lines of how the Outlook junk e-mail folder works. Gregg

G** (those other guys) offers the ability to send spam messages into the already existing Junk Email folder in Outlook using Exchanges SCL and IMF features- if a feature like this request were considered, this would most likely be the best method. Forget plugins and all that junk, either offer a web based quarentine, or use the above, and allow people to forward emails to whitelist or blacklist addresses. - ie user receives junk, they forward it to [email protected], or [email protected] to whitelist a false positive, just have ORF check these addresses.

"G** (those other guys) offers the ability to send spam messages into the already existing Junk Email folder in Outlook using Exchanges SCL and IMF features" @jhyde: it is already possible with a little effort in ORF as well (I mean redirecting blacklisted emails to the Junk folder of users, see our guide regarding this at http://www.vamsoft.com/downloads/imfexchange2003guide.zip)
