Peter has contacted us regarding this issue and I have already sent him a reply. In short, I suspect that the last upgrade to v5.4 was unsuccessful and - most probably - some of the modules were not upgraded. You should review the 'Module Information' page (ORF Administration Tool > Help > About > Modules... ) and verify that all of the orf*** modules are upgraded to 5.4.0.*. If there is module version mismatch, a *clean* re-installation (after backing up the ORF configuration: http://vamsoft.com/support/docs/how-tos/configuration-backup-5.4) will solve the problem.

@Simon: Hello Simon,

All the ORF modules seem to be up-to-date, so I am a bit puzzled. Perhaps an ORF Service left from a previous instance is still running. Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the ORF Service by issuing the following commands from a command prompt as Administrator, from the ORF directory (stop the ORF service first if it is running and close all ORF tools, just in case):

orfeesvc -uninstall
orfeesvc –install

Finally, restart the ORF Service and monitor the logs to see if the error recurs. Please let me know if this has helped to solve the issue.
