Auto Sender Whitelisting Entire Domains

Last activity: more than 10 years ago
Enabling this option would whitelist emails not only from recipients of outgoing emails recorded in the Auto Sender Whitelist database, but from all addresses in their domains. This might cause problems if the recorded sender uses a free email provider (like Gmail, YahooMail or Hotmail), so to avoid whitelisting such domains, there would be a domain exception list.

Check Recipient Mail Servers Against Online Blacklists Periodically

Last activity: 6 years ago
This feature would require the administrator to setup a list of their own domains in the Administration Tool. ORF would check the IP addresses of the related hosts (i.e., MX and A records of your domains) periodically on DNS blacklists and the domain itself on SURBLs. If your servers or domain got listed by any online blacklist providers, ORF would notify you, so you can fix the problem which triggered the blacklisting and ask the provider to remove your IP and/or domains from the blacklist.

Challenge / Response (C/R) Spam Filtering

Last activity: more than 10 years ago
A feature to send a reply email automatically with a challenge to unknown senders. The sender is asked to perform some action to assure delivery of the original message, which would otherwise not be delivered. Senders that have previously performed the challenging action would be automatically whitelisted.

Recipient Validation to Support Multiple LDAP Paths

Last activity: more than 10 years ago
Currently, only a single LDAP path could be set for the Active Directory-based Recipient Validation feature, so ORF can query the valid recipient list from a single Active Directory only. This improvement would allow ORF users with multiple Active Directories to take advantage of the Recipient Validation test without importing the valid recipient addresses into an SQL database or text file from each Active Directory periodically.
